LGBTQ history is not just comprised of notable events from our past, but also events happening now in the present. The project offers two forms for community members to document events and their reflections on those events for long-term preservation.

The Forms

The first form, Submit an Event, provides an opportunity to contribute significant events from the past and present to be recorded in a public spreadsheet and timeline to be preserved for years to come. This includes events that have already passed from any year as well as upcoming events in the near future in San Diego County, Northern Baja California, and Imperial County region. These events should be able to be published publicly, even if you select that they should be published after they occur. For any private events that are intended to stay private, please do not submit those.

The second form, Submit a Reflection about an Event, provides an opportunity to contribute reflections on their experiences at significant events from the past and present to be recorded in a public spreadsheet for years to come. This includes reflections events that have already passed from any year in San Diego County, Northern Baja California, and Imperial County region. To submit a reflection, the event must already be located in the Submitted Events spreadsheet. Please understand that these reflections will be published publicly. You have the option to use a pseudonym or be attributed anonymously. Please think carefully about what you wish to share and be respectful about what you share as well as other people's privacy.
